Aged about 11, my parents noticed my symptoms early, hence treatment started immediately. I was living at Rupanyup, Victoria, at the time.

Trips to the Royal Children’s Hospital and years of exercises etc left me with a strong body, and minimal damage to muscles.

I have had a weak left shoulder all my life.

I am now living in Western Australia and definitely appreciate all the help the Post Polio Network of WA gives to us.

I believe in the vaccination programme.
