“Slow Walks and Post-Polio Syndrome” – NSW Seniors Card Short Story Competition
The NSW Seniors Card Short Story Competition reveals the hidden talent of the state’s older writers who have shared their perspective on Positive Ageing. 100 short stories were chosen. On Page 196 you will find a story entitled “Slow Walks and Post-Polio Syndrome” by Alpheus Williams (below).
This collection of 100 stories is the fourth volume of Seniors Stories written by seniors from throughout NSW. The theme of this year’s edition was positive ageing and each story reflects this theme in its own unique and inspiring way.
