Celebrating the life of Dr Margaret Cooper
Dr Margaret Cooper OAM, passed away in hospital on Saturday 27th October 2018. Margaret was a qualified Social Worker, and a staunch, life-long advocate for people with disabilities. She was active on a number of committees, and had been the Vice President of Post-Polio Victoria for several years, also contributing to national ageing and disability-related position papers for Polio Australia. Margaret’s passion was clear to everyone who met her, and she will be sorely missed throughout the post-polio community, and by everyone else whose lives she touched.
